A big thank you from AirPower09
For two days, participants from 19 different nations helped transform Hinterstoisser air base into the most thrilling airfield in the world: highlights such as the Red Bull Air Race demo with World Champion Hannes Arch and the first official appearance of the Austrian Eurofighter - including a live interception! -, the breathtaking performance by Patrouille Suisse and the aerobatic helicopter display by the Flying Bulls demonstrated the immeasurable allure of man and machine in perfect harmony.
AirPower09 is now history - and also made history: over the two days of the event, Styria proved to be a charming host to a record-breaking 280,000 aviation fans from all over the world.
